Embargoes
Provisional Information, subject to permissions and Covid-19 restrictions.
  • There will be 'elite' and 'non-elite' start blocks, and entry limits.
  • Priority will be given to elite runners as these races will be used for the UK Elite Orienteering Leagues and international selections.
  • Note for elite runners especially the embargoed areas. If you feel you have knowledge of the area that would give you an unfair advantage (e.g. you have been orienteering there in the past 12 months), please let the organisers know as soon as possible.

ENTRY DEADLINE FOR "ELITES" - 16th MAY (open to all comers after that).

Race 1
Date -
Saturday 29th May
Venue - MacRosty Park, Crieff.
Terrain - Mostly grassy park and surrounding roads. As used for the Scottish 6 Days 2019 sprint race - see old map here.
Parking - tbc
Clothing - No restrictions.
Map - 1:4000, sprint specification. Drawn Graham Gristwood 2019.

Courses close - 12:30

Men Open / Long (optimal distance approx 4km)
Women Open / Short (optimal distance approx 3km)​
Timing - 
Touch-free SportIDENT. SIACs available for hire.
U16s - Note that U16s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult willing to take responsibility for decision making regarding road crossings and road safety.

Race 2
Date - 
Saturday 29th May
Venue - Bannockburn West.
Terrain - Mixture of urban and park, some long grass / rough trails, 50% asphalt. New map and terrain.
Parking - tbc
Clothing - No restrictions. There are some steep banks which may be slippery, so you may wish to wear grippy shoes.
